The Chiropractic Philanthropist with Dr. Kelly Polzin

Dr. Matthew Walker is the Founder and Clinical Director of Advanced Health Institute and his goal is to offer preventative and objective education through the providers who work with him so that we can help more people and make a greater impact on society’s health problems.

Dr. Matthew Walker is committed to helping families in the community experience improved health and vitality. He speaks regularly to local schools, businesses, and organizations on health, wellness and safety topics. He enjoys educating others on how to manage stress, how to prevent injuries in the workplace and at home, and how to maintain peak performance in all facets of life. His mission is to empower as many people as possible to experience their optimal health potential through education and professional care.

Dr. Walker was born in Champaign, IL and grew up in Annawan, IL where he was an honor student and standout athlete. He received a scholarship to play football at St. Ambrose University where he became an All-American and could regularly be seen on the Dean’s List. Dr. Walker completed his education at Palmer College in Davenport, IA where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. He received extensive training in treating work related and sports injuries, physical therapy, and diagnosis. Dr. Walker has received post-graduate training in structural (postural) analysis and correction, low back pain diagnosis and treatment, and advanced soft tissue (muscular) treatments.

Dr. Walker is currently the President of the Dr. David D Palmer Athletic Trust which is a non-profit organization that provides scholarship to chiropractic students. He’s also the patented co-inventor of the Muscle Restoration Tool.

Dr. Walker donates his time to local youth athletic associations by providing coaching assistance and chiropractic services. He currently resides in Downtown Chicago. A few of the athletic activities he enjoys are running, weight training, cycling, triathlon training, beach volleyball, rugby, football, basketball and softball.
